I subscribe to webcomic xkcd, but somehow miss all the best posts. I found this on the 404 Tech Support blog. Also posted there was a very readable research study [PDF] about the hazards of selecting passwords that were so lengthy or obscure that they defied the ability of the account owner to recall them.
