Behold the full-fledged version of the prior image, courtesy of the CAIDA internet infrastructure visualization gallery (Walrus), for visualization of massive networks in three dimensions.
Somehow, it lost its wiggle in transit from download to Windows 7 and upload back to Tumblr. I felt guilty about hot linking to a 1.07 MB GIF file hosted on the CAIDA (Center for something Internet something something).

The human form is inset with animation, a GIF-of-the-Moulin Rouge, in the tradition of Toulouse-Latrec, maybe? It was brought to my attention thanks to courteous L’Embarras du Choix.
