Data Anxiety

urlist:

We at URLi.st love to hear about our users, what they like, what they dislike, and what they want. In the last month we received plenty of feedbacks from all of you, so let’s take a look at your improvements to the URLi.st web application!

The new bookmarklet

Wow, this is rather cool. I just started using this cute little bookmarking utility called urli.st a few weeks ago.

I’d been conducting a very casual cross-comparison between

  • Diigo,
  • Google Bookmarks,
  • Link-A-Go-Go, which has such a great name!
  • CiteULike, Springer Verlag’s academic and research citation-style social bookmarking service,
  • bit.ly, the URL shortener much beloved by the Twitterverse, doing double duty as a means of gauging “social media influence”, roll eyes a bit, although it is big business, and
  • URList a.k.a. http://urli.st, whose home blog is right here on Tumblr, as I just found a few minutes ago.

What a nice surprise!
