These are some pictures of the Pig Stalls and race tracks some friends and I made on the server we play on! It is a really awesome track, and we race our pigs on it all the time!

Given my fondness for pigs and all things porcine, I think this is just great! However, Cookies-and-Cake Minecraft had a caveat, so I should probably be responsible and re-blog his other paragraph too.

This is a little different than what I usually do… What do you think about having more of these kind of posts. Don’t worry, I still will be posting Minecraft News and Texture Pack/Mod Reviews. :)

I don’t know about Minecraft much, but I do have a REAL Minecraft piggy included on my Graced by Pigs board on Pinterest.

"And after all, your pigs are far more intelligent than the other animals, and therefore the best qualified to run the farm - in fact, there couldn’t have been an Animal Farm at all without them: so that what was needed (someone might argue), was not more communism but more public-spirited pigs."

Sausage Fest

repeaters:

Today, I made a project that combines my repeaters with the wonderful New York Times Campaign Finance API. Called Sausage Making 2012, it visualizes the total campaign contributions of Barack Obama and Mitt Romney as the speed at which meat is ground— evoking the famous quote,

“Laws, like sausages, cease to inspire respect in proportion as we know how they are made,”

often falsely attributed to Otto von Bismarck, but likely first written by the American poet John Godfrey Saxe.

Now THAT is spectacular! Talk about sausage fests! Looks like coarse ground beef to me, but I laughed. A lot.

Do check out the N.Y. Times Campaign Finance API.

Young Zack Gold is a clever one, rest assured of that! This was re-blogged from one of his many tumblr’s, see URL above.

I got into the spirit of things and scraped this cutie

          Sausage from TheReformedBroker!

from the website of Downtown Josh Brown (The Possibly Reformed Broker). More sausage.

My cousin got married yesterday! It was a beautiful wedding. I cried so many happy tears and was reminded that true love is definitely possible. Congrats Dung and Trang!

Time for some nuptial joy from the piggy crowd.
